This cultural day trip to the Yasawa Islands offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions and vibrant culture of Fiji. Engage with local communities, explore historical sites, and experience the natural beauty of the islands. This unforgettable journey promises to be both educational and enjoyable.
Timings and Activities: Once you arrive, you will be welcomed in the traditional Fijian way with a Fijian greeting, which includes a traditional Kava drink, before activities begin. Explore the cultural centre to learn about the rich history and traditions of the Yasawa Islands and the historically significant cave that the centre is located next to. Enjoy a meke (musical and dance) performance, participate in a Fijian craft workshop, learn about local medicinal plants, enjoy a Fijian cooking demonstration, and snorkel Kuata Island’s stunning underwater coral gardens in this Marine Reserve area. The day concludes with a traditional farewell.
Food and Drinks A delicious buffet lunch is included in your day trip, and drinks can be purchased at the resort. If you require a vegetarian option, please specify in the ‘special requirements’ box when you go through the booking process
