- [What is the Captains Lounge option?](https://southseacruisesfiji.com/faq/what-is-the-captains-lounge-option/): On the Yasawa Flyer service (Route 7), there is an option to upgrade to the Captain’s Lounge (for an additional price). This private, air-conditioned lounge seats up to 56 people with a designated host and includes complimentary snacks and beverages (including house wine and local beer). This can be chosen within the booking process under 'Select Fares'.

- [Is it possible to visit more than one island in a day?](https://southseacruisesfiji.com/faq/is-it-possible-to-visit-more-than-one-island-in-a-day/): The Combo Cruise visits South Sea Island in the morning and then you board the vessel for a scenic cruise past other islands and resorts for the afternoon or just choose the Mamanuca Island Explorer which takes you on a 3 hour round trip around the Mamanuca Islands as we stop off at resorts to drop off/pick up guests. A great way to see the Mamanuca Islands.

South Sea Island has a semi-submersible, which allows the little ones to have an ‘under the sea’ experience without even getting wet, and a complementary Kids Club! The Finding Nemo day cruise is also fantastic for families with younger children, being a shorter day cruise but with lots of entertainment!
- [Are there cultural practices I need to be aware of?](https://southseacruisesfiji.com/faq/are-there-cultural-practices-i-need-to-be-aware-of/): Yes - we ask you to respect our culture upon entering any village. No hats or sunglasses are to be worn (please do take these with you as it can get hot, but please take care to remove them from your head when in the village).  Ladies are required to have shoulders and knees covered, a sulu (sarong) is a great option to wear when visiting the village and is available for sale onboard our vessels if you need one.

Our vessels and day trip islands/boats are fully licensed for alcoholic purchases and offer a selection of snacks and beverages.

So it is advised to bring a towel (towels are provided at Malamala Beach Club), hat, sunscreen, and of course your camera! Fiji's white sandy beaches are often made up of coral so some sort of footwear for the beach is advisable.

This process can be challenging for those with mobility impairments, making it difficult to board and navigate safely. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage guests with specific accessibility needs to contact us for further information or alternative options.
