What you need to know
Mandatory Fuel Surcharge in Effect
As of 07th April 2026, a mandatory fuel surcharge is now in effect for customers travelling on all resort transfer services as fuel prices in Fiji have risen beyond sustainable levels. For more information, please see our fuel surcharge notice.
South Sea Cats
Transfers on our South Sea Cats services can also be booked on this website. Note: Route 10 will cease on the 3rd of May and Route 17 on the 30th of April due to rising fuel costs. For more information on these services, click here.
Check-in
For all Resort Transfers, check-in is required at the South Sea Cruises desk at Port Denarau Terminal, 30 minutes before the vessel departure (insert map).
Airport Transfers
Mamanuca Island Resort Transfers – If you are booking a Resort Transfer service to/from an island resort, we can arrange individual pick up/drop off from/to Nadi Airport for an additional cost (included in your final price once booked online).
Yasawa Island Resort Transfers – We offer a scheduled coach transfer to Port Denarau leaving Nadi Airport at 7:15 am in time to check in for the Yasawa Flyer departure at 8:45 am until 31 March 2026 (note this stops at a number of hotels/resorts along the way) – the charge for this is FJ$10 per adult and FJ$7 per child (one way).
Our driver will meet you in the arrival hall at Nadi Airport (once you have cleared customs and immigration) and will transfer you to Port Denarau in time to meet our vessel departure (or the reverse for travellers coming from an island resort to Nadi Airport). Please select Nadi Airport when booking your transfer to ensure the coach transfer is reserved for you. There is a coach returning to the airport from Port Denarau departing at approximately 6:15 pm.
For all Island Resort Transfer customers who book online, prebooking return coach transfers with the South Sea Cruises reservations team at least 24 hours prior to travel/tour date is essential.
Resort/Hotel Coach Transfers
Transfers from and/or back to most Nadi, Wailoaloa, and Denarau hotels and resorts to Port Denarau for our Island Resort cost FJ$10 per adult and FJ$7 per child (one way).
Please advise us where you’re staying at least 24 hours before travel/tour date to ensure your pickup is reserved; otherwise, getting to the marina in time for the vessel’s departure is your responsibility.
Captains Lounge Upgrades
For a small additional cost, experience access to the private Captains Lounge, with a designated onboard host, plus you will also receive complimentary snacks, bottled water, coffee, soft drinks, house wine, and local beer to enjoy during your journey. Available on Yasawa Island Routes. Ask at the check-in counter for availability or check online when booking.
Disembarking the Vessel
Note that most resorts do not have jetty access, so transfers from the vessel to the land are done in smaller tender vessels and sometimes involve getting your feet wet, so be sure to wear shoes you can take off easily.
