South Sea Island is Fiji’s most popular day trip island and is a short high-speed catamaran ride with South Sea Cruises from Port Denarau. Being so close to Denarau means you can make the most of your time lazing on the beach, snorkelling, swimming, and enjoying the many activities on offer. With other day trip guests not arriving at the island until 10.45am, Finding Nemo guests can enjoy the island mostly to themselves before returning to Port Denarau in time for lunch.
Plenty to do Being small in size, it means you can explore it in the 1.5-2 hours you have on the island with plenty to keep you entertained such as a semi-submersible submarine for underwater viewing, a saltwater swimming pool and complimentary use of all non-motorised water sports equipment such as snorkelling gear, stand up paddle boards and kayaks.
Beverages Enjoy complimentary local beer, house wine, soft drinks, and water while on the island.
Additional options For an additional cost while on the island, treat yourself to a premium beverage or grab an ice cream at the Tipsy Turtle Bar (see the bar menu here)

- Return pre-booked coach transfers to/from Port Denarau to/from most Nadi, Denarau, and Wailoaloa hotels/resorts. Check the coach timetable here for times
- Return vessel transfers from/to Port Denarau on our high-speed catamaran with air conditioned lounge, open air outer decks, and free Wi-Fi
- Local beer, house wine, filtered water, and soft drinks are all included while on South Sea Island

- Subsea Adventure in our semi-submersible coral viewer (note that in the event this is not available due to maintenance or repairs, no refund will be given)
- Use of snorkelling gear, paddleboards, and kayaks
- Saltwater swimming pool and fantastic swimming/snorkelling in the sea, even at low tide
- Massage, premium bar, and scuba diving are all available at an additional cost

SCUBA SNAP
The Scuba Snap activity is a fun, quick dive experience designed to give people a taste of what Scuba diving is like. Participants get into dive gear and are guided by the experienced and qualified team to have their photo taken at an underwater frame in shallow water.
Duration: 5-10 minutes in shallow water
Age: 8 years and above
Cost: $35 per person
Inclusions: All dive gear and dive picture keepsake (sent by email)
Requirements: Participants (or their guardians if under 18 years of age) are required to sign a digital medical statement to confirm they can safely participate in the Scuba Snap activity

* Dive pricing is per person and is in addition to the day trip cost. Only the Scuba Snap dive option is available on the Finding Nemo Trip
**Children are aged 5 – 15 years inclusive. Infants 4 years and under are free of charge.
