South Sea Island is Fiji’s most popular day trip island and is a short high-speed catamaran ride with South Sea Cruises from Port Denarau. Being so close to Denarau means you can make the most of the day lazing on the beach, snorkelling, diving, and enjoying the many activities on offer.
Plenty to do It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained with a semi-submersible submarine for underwater viewing, a saltwater swimming pool, and complimentary use of all non-motorised water sports equipment such as snorkelling gear, stand-up paddle boards, and kayaks.
Food and drinks Lunchtime is a highlight on the island when everyone gathers around rustic tables at the open-air restaurant to watch Fijian performances and explore craft markets (both daily except Sundays). Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch (see the BBQ Buffet lunch menu here). Complimentary local beer, house wine, and soft drinks are also included all day long while on the island.

- Return pre-booked coach transfers to/from Port Denarau to/from most Nadi, Denarau, Wailoaloa, (Full and Half Day) Vuda, Natadola, Sonaisali, Momi Bay, and Coral Coast (Full Day only) hotels/resorts. Check the coach timetable here for times
- Return vessel transfers from/to Port Denarau on our high-speed catamaran with air conditioned lounge, open air outer decks, and free Wi-Fi

SCUBA SNAP
Have your photo taken underwater – the “Scuba Snap” is fun, quick, safe and easy . Participants only need to walk into the clear shallow waters, and guided by the experienced and qualified team, put on the basic equipment, go underwater and have your photo “snapped.” A perfect way to capture this fun and special memory, even together with friends and family.
Duration: 5-10 minutes in shallow water
Age: 8 years and above
Cost: $35 per person
Inclusions: All required equipment and dive picture keepsake (sent by email)
Optional extra: Upgrade to a longer dive experience (additional 20-25 minutes) for an additional FJ$134 per person, which also includes up to 40 dive photos (sent by email)
Requirements: Participants (or their guardians if under 18 years of age) are required to sign a digital medical statement to confirm they can safely participate in the Scuba Snap activity

DISCOVER SCUBA INTRO DIVE
A full 40 minute dive experience guided by an Open Water Instructor. Divers can enjoy a longer and more immersive dive than traditional introductory dive experiences, perfect for first-time divers, this is ideal for those looking to experience scuba diving for the first time in a safe and controlled environment.
Duration: 40 minutes
Age: 10 years and above
Cost: $169 per person
Inclusions: All dive gear and up to 40 dive photos (sent by email)
Requirements: Participants (or their guardians if under 18 years of age) are required to sign a digital medical statement to confirm they can safely participate in the Intro Dive Experience

CERTIFIED OPEN WATER DIVE
A dive experience catering for certified divers (Open Water Diver certification or higher required). This dive will explore areas further beyond the Intro scuba reef, supervised by an Open Water Instructor.
Duration: 40 minutes
Age: 10 years and above (must be a certified diver)
Cost: $169 per person
Inclusions: All dive gear and up to 40 dive photos (sent by email)
Requirements: Participants must present their valid Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification. Participants are required to sign a digital medical statement to confirm they can safely participate in the Certified Open Water Dive activity

BUBBLE BUDDIES JUNIOR – INTRO DIVE
An introductory dive for children in shallow water with qualified instructors. Participants will have their picture taken at a Bubble Buddies underwater picture frame and sent by email.
Duration: 40 minutes in shallow water
Age: 8 to 15 years inclusive
Cost: $125 per person
Inclusions: All dive gear, Bubble Buddies T-shirt, certificate, and a dive picture keepsake (sent by email)
Optional extra: Receive a wide range of dive pictures for an additional FJ$55
Requirements: Participants’ guardian is required to sign a digital medical statement to confirm they can safely participate in the Bubble Buddies Junior activity

For family members aged 16 and older of those participating in Bubble Buddies, you can join the Bubble Buddies dive experience with this Family Add-On option.
Duration: 40 minutes in shallow water, where they will be supervised by both an Open Water Instructor and Dive Master
